A collaborative investigation on the French-Italian Alpine borderlands between Oulx and Briançon. Historically serving as a vital alpine crossing point is today journeyed by many illegalised migrants in search of refuge. As a digital platform, a narrative weaves together the materials from the investigation which unveils wider notions around migration, border enforcement, solidarity, and the alpine imaginary.
This research project is part of a larger collaborative project entitled, Besides the Borders, carried out as part of an investigation at the Center for Research Architecture.
