A short film following Lamar Wilson, who discovers that his hometown is the site of one of America's worst acts of torture and execution. With three other residents, Lamar works towards healing a community that has paid a price for silence and denial of a history that has casted a shadow over the small town for generations. The film served as inspiration for a VR series, under the same name.
The film was official selection at the 2019 Full Frame Film Festival, won Special Jury Prize at the 2018 New Orleans Film Festival, and televised as part of POV Shorts Season 2.
